We now begin the sacred season of Lent. Lent invites us once again to ongoing conversion—metanoia—calling us to turn away from sin and grow closer to God by loving Him and loving our neighbor as ourselves.
At the beginning of Lent each year, the Gospel offers us a roadmap for this journey: prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Through these practices, we deepen our relationship with God and open our hearts more fully to others (cf. Matthew 6:1–6, 16–18). Lent is a season rich with promise—a time of new beginnings sustained by God’s grace and presence. Let us not allow this moment to pass us by.
As pilgrims walking this Lenten path together, may our journey prepare us more deeply to celebrate the Paschal Mystery of our Lord Jesus Christ. May the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus always remain close to your heart.
Below, check out the many ways you can participate in the Lenten journey with us.
Wishing you a blessed Lent and a grace-filled Easter.
